JONY and the CUP CAKES

Good evening people.. before end this beautiful Sunday, I decide to share with you all what I heard this morning on the chapel. This story was told by priest in his preaching with theme : give with generosity.

"Mommmmm, I got it" with cheerful face and voice, Jony (a third grade student) went inside house and was looking for his mother. He told to his mother about the upcoming school jubilee which will be held six months later. "And the teacher asked me to join the play, Mom.. I'm so happy" said Jony. With pride of her son, the mother asked, "Are you going to be the star?" asked the mother. "Hmm, no mom, the star should be sixth grade student that used to play"..  then the mother asked again, "Oh, then you'll be supporting players, right? don't worry you'll learn from your first play" mother tried encouraged Jony. With cheerful face Jony answered, "No mom, the supporting player should be fourth and fifth grade student, they have more experience" The mother started to confuse then asked again "Are you the dancers? or helping the properties?" And still the answer is "no". Then with glowing eyes, Jony said "The teacher asked me to come for every single practice, I should come earlier than the players, take the front seat and watch the play carefully. When all the players come forward, arm in arm and salute, it's the time when I have to raise up from my chair and give big applause"

Now, we can guess what Jony's role in the play, right?

The mother did not want to let her son down and let Jony did the "role". Short stories, the day was coming. Jony came 15 minutes earlier than others and took the front seat. All the players were starting the play and getting nervous when hundreds people had an eye for them. At the center of play, one player started to make wrong dialogue which followed by others. The play became inconsequential, run of the story, boring, thus spectators (parents and teachers) were doing other things until some of them fell asleep. When the play ended, no one realized that it was over. All the players came forward, arm in arm and saluted. No one cared, no one knew that the play was completed. The players were starting to disappointed and some teachers were tearing at the back stage. Suddenly, there's a boy, sat on the front seat, stood from his chair and clapped loudly. His applause successfully awaken the man besides him, then the man followed the boy to give applause. In less than a minute, all people gave applause and it helped the end of play.

Jony, the "non-player" had saved the play because he did what he-have-to-do with all his heart. Give his time to watch the play twice a week, eight times a month and twenty four times for six months. The same play, the same seat, the same time he always comes earlier and watch the practice carefully. His generosity had completed the play and consoled the players' heart :)

The story tickled me, the feed back from what I give should be measured from how big my heart that I put inside it.

Then, as always, I have something to share here... my cupcake design for birthday girl, Ipin (nickname) on her 20th birthday. Her best and boy friend ordered me set of cupcakes for the surprise. Here it is..
a gift from best friends

lovely cupcake for the lovely one
I just start this cupcake and come up with one flavor, chocolate only. With the fondant? hmm, no, I don't have any basic of handicrafts actually, but, I think I have similarity with Jony, the boy in story above. I made the cupcake with all I have known, what I've learned until yesterday, put my time, energy also my heart there. Thus, proudly present, my fondant cupcakes. I don't know is it deserve to be proud of (the cupcakes) but, I loved what I've done to the cupcakes (and this is the most crucial, agree?).

I haven't get the feed back yet from Ipin, herself, but I hope she had the lovely birthday. Welcome to 20 club, Ipin :D You have family, best-girl friends and boy friend that love you a lot :) so lucky :D

I'm waiting for another project, hope it will be approved soon :D
